Dear Maritzburg College, Old Boys
This past reunion weekend was truly something special. What we witnessed was College in its finest form and a real-world testament to what it is that Maritzburg College stands for and represents on so many levels.
We were so incredibly proud and grateful to see so many of you return to Maritzburg College and to witness the camaraderie, passion, and pride as we took on Hilton College. Our teams performed exceptionally, and we could not be prouder of the boys’ courage, integrity, and discipline throughout the weekend.
That said, I must also address an unfortunate matter. Disrespectful AI-generated images have been circulated on social media. These images do not reflect our communities’ values, the spirit of our association or a truthful reflection of the incredible sportsmanship and respect between Maritzburg College and Hilton College over the last weekend.
We urge all Old Boys not to like, share, and perpetuate such posts in any from or manner. We stand strongly against this behaviour and ask you as an integral part of our community to uphold the dignity and pride that has for generations defined our great school.
