This is a tribute to Dick Lambert from his son-in-law, Adam Rogers (OC Class of 1991).
“I am saddened to have to let you know of the passing of my father-in-law Richard (‘Dick’) Keith Lambert of the College Class of 1956 on 21 April 2025.
Dick Lambert was a man whose life was characterized by significance and purpose. He was a chartered accountant by profession; a former provincial cricketer, and the recipient of the Paul Harris Rotary Award amongst other achievements. But, if asked, his greatest accomplishment was being married to his wife Sheila for 59 years; being a father to his three daughters, Belinda, Wendy and Sharon; grandfather to seven and great-grandfather to two.
He was warm, caring, fun-loving and kind. He loved unconditionally and in turn was loved by many. He always turned up when his friends or family were in need and never expected anything in return. We are going to miss him terribly.”
